SPORTS CABIN
A place of warmth and community.
Two steps from the restaurant, you will find the lounge. Sink into comfortable sofas, armchairs or sit down at one of the tables, play a board game or watch TV. If you have a dog with you, it is welcome to stay here (preferably on the floor).
In 1930, a few associations came together to create the Åkulla Winter Sports Center, and that same autumn a sports cabin was completed here in Åkulla. A gathering place for both activity and relaxation.
Today, the tradition lives on, and we still call it Sportstugan. For us, it was a natural choice to keep the name – a tribute to the history of the place and everything it stands for.
Welcome to the Bar
We serve carefully selected drinks from local breweries and artisans, handcrafted cocktails, and a curated wine and beer list. Enjoy a refreshing drink after the sauna, a glass of wine by the lake, or a nightcap to round off your dinner.
Our bar is open to both overnight guests and passing hikers – a welcoming spot to unwind, year-round.
